The late Prince Alexander of Yugoslavia.
The funeral of HRH Prince Alexander of Yugoslavia was held inside the Royal Mausoleum (and Church) at Oplenac, near Topola, Serbia.
The emotional ceremony took place on Friday, May 20, 2016. Attending were the following royalties:

Prince Alexander was an air pilot. He was keenly interested in airplanes. Some years ago, during one of his visits to Serbia he was invited to tour the air academy and taken on a fighter jet flight. He was delighted and always remembered that experience as one of his favorite ones. Another favorite memory was driving his Greek (Russian) grandmother down a steep hill at one of the royal estates. Her vocabulary concerning his driving skills (he was a teenager), well, I cannot repeat what came out of Helen Vladimirova's lips!
Anyhow...because of his interest in the Serbian Air Force his casket was carried into the church at Oplenac by fighter pilots. I know he would have been deeply touched by that.
Prince Alexander always told me how fond he had been of the late King Alexander of Yugoslavia, with whom he shared many passions: hunting, mechanics, driving fast cars, physical exercise.
I was blessed with having Prince Alexander as a friend, a very good friend. Through him and his beloved wife Princess Barbara, I was able to connect to many other royal relations of theirs. Alexander always gave me his "seal" of approval and many times personally approached relations of his, near and far, whom I wanted to establish bonds.

I spoke with Princess Barbara today and she informed me that her late husband's memorial mass will take place in paris on June 20, 2016. I hope to be there to render homage to one of the kindest, old-style gentlemen I knew ... a real life "scoundrel" who made my life richer!
